About this event

TAC presents this double-tour of two exhibitions at the San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles.

TAC Board member Alexandra Friedman will docent the exhibition "More Impact: Climate Change." Curated by Deborah Corsini and Alex Friedman, it includes tapestries from members of Tapestry Weavers West that reflect our changing global environment and the detrimental consequences of climate change.

The second tour will be of the exhibition "Layered & Stitched: 50 Years of Innovative Art," led by SJMQT director Nancy Bavor. It features a balance of abstract and representational styles in contemporary quilt art.

The combined program will run approximately 2 hours. Maximum: 15 attendees. The museum will open earlier for us.

Refund policy: If we can fill your space from the waitlist, your ticket price will be refunded.
