About this Event

In this two-part program presented by the Smart Museum of Art and the Poetry Foundation, explore the work of artists and poets who engage with ideas of utopia, past and present.

Part II is a special Forms & Features poetry workshop and discussion dedicated to poetry that examines the relationship between social and technological progress, and that engages and incorporates a variety of media and technologies.

Don't miss part I...

This is the second part in a two-part workshop series happening at the Smart Museum of Art and Poetry Foundation. Part I on October 8 features a tour of the exhibition Samson Young: Silver Moon or Golden Star, Which Will You Buy of Me? followed by a discussion and hands-on art project that touches on pop culture, how artists engage in tumultuous times, and ideas of the future from the past.

Open to all skill levels. Space is limited, please register in advance and let us know if you plan to come to one or both sessions.
