Summary:

This course is designed to provide the knowledge necessary to safely and efficiently manage and operate swimming pools and spas.

Requirements:

You must be 16 years or older to take this course.

Schedule:

This class will be held on 4 days:
Day 1: May 22nd from 4pm - 8pm

Day 2: May 23rd from 4pm - 8pm

Day 3: May 24th from 4pm - 8pm

Day 4: May 25th from 4om - 8pm

Employee Pricing:In order to pay the employee class price of $65.00 Lifeguard and Legal Guardian (if lifeguard is under the age of 18 years) agree to work the minimum hours required for 2017 stated in the table below based off of the date the Lifeguard was hired.

Refund Policy Effective Date 11/1/16-10/31/17

There will be no refunds given for discounted lifeguard or pretest classes. Our standard cost of the Pool Opertor Course is $200.00, if you are paying any amount less than $200.00 it is considered discounted training.  

In the event you are dealing with an extenuating circumstance and wish to request a refund please know that all extenuating circumstances will be dealt with on a case by case basis and MUST be pre-approved by our training department. Documentation of the extenuating circumstance must be submitted to Jess Muir (please see below for contact information). Please note: Failing the lifeguard pretest, not showing up to the lifeguard class, missing a day of the lifeguard class, or showing up late to the lifeguard class does not qualify the participant for a refund or qualify as an extenuating circumstance.

If you signed up for a class and you must change the date of the class, there will be a $50.00 transfer fee which is due immediately upon transfer. Please call our office and ask to speak with Jess Muir or email her to complete the transfer (contact information is listed below).

Refund Policy:  

In the event you cancel your enrollment in a course, please notify the organizer in writing one week in advance of the course start date to receive a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee to cover third party costs.  If you cancel your enrollment in the course less than one week prior to the course start date, your payment of the course will be forfeited.  Any fees forfeited are available to be applied toward a future course.

If you enroll in a lifeguarding course and you do not pass the swimming prerequisite you will receive a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee to cover third party costs. This forfeited processing fee is available to be applied toward a future course.

  2. Notebook and pen
  3. Calculator
