Event Details

Pualani's Polynesian Revue is proud to announce the 2013 Polynesian Dance Workshop, led by lead dancer and choreographer, Amy “Pualani” Miller.

If you have been curious about Polynesian dance and want to try it out, or if you'd like to hone your skills by mastering new choreography, this workshop is for you!

Part I: Polynesian Basics (1 Hour) – Learn the essentials of hula (Hawaiian dance) and Tahitian otea (fast, drum-based rhythms). Great if you've ever wanted to dip your toe into the blue waters of island dance! No prior dance experience required.

Part II: Choreography (3 Hours) – Learn one hula and one otea choreography. More advanced and challenging: ideal for those with prior Polynesian experience OR belly dance experience. (Belly dance training translates very well into Polynesian training.) Highly recommended if you would like to perform with Pualani's Polynesian Revue!

You make take one or both sessions.

All Attendees Receive

  • A promo code for discounts on Pualani's Polynesian Revue events and services, including classes, workshops and performances
