On the final day of the AAS/ASA/ASAANZ international conference 'Shifting States' at the University of Adelaide, anthropologist Dr. Georgina Drew will be hosting a workshop co-organised by Associate Professor Vibha Arora (IIT Delhi) on the Political Ecologies of Water.


This workshop will feature a seminar from heralded anthropologist of water Professor Veronica Strang, author of The Meaning of Water (2004, Oxford University Press), and more recently Water: nature and culture (2015, Reaktion Books/University of Chicago Press). Following the presentation from Prof Strang will be a number of engaging excercises and networking opportunities.


It will be held in Room 108 of the Napier building at the University of Adelaide between 1:45-5:15pm on Friday the 15th of December.


Coffee/tea and some light snacks will be provided.
