Join LockPath for a special one-day workshop in downtown Dallas featuring GRC Pundit Michael Rasmussen.

In order to achieve effectiveness, efficiency, and agility in policy management, organizations need to define a structured governance framework and process. Designing a mature policy management program and processes that align with the organization requires an understanding of what the organization is about, how it operates and how it should be monitored and controlled. Policy management by design requires a structured approach in context of how the organization operates.

To provide a blueprint on effective policy management strategies, LockPath is hosting Policy Management by Design, a free, one-day workshop, presented by GRC Pundit Michael Rasmussen. Through lectures, discussion with peers, and applicable exercises, you will gain a better understanding of:

  • Defining a process lifecycle for managing policies
  • Establishing policy ownership and accountability
  • Providing policy consistency in style and language
  • Communicating policies across extended business relationships
  • Tracking policy attestation
  • Delivering effective training
  • Monitoring metrics to establish effectiveness
  • Identifying issues with policies
  • Mapping policies to objectives, risks, controls, issues, and other GRC areas

This workshop will take place in Dallas on Tuesday, October 11, from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. CDT. The event includes a networking breakfast, lunch, and eight hours to use towards CPE credits. Seats are limited, so save yours by registering today.
