Come along to this picnic to share ideas and discuss with current and former teachers and fellow people interested in education, one of the biggest issues faced by the education system currently: teacher retention in schools.

The discussion will be facilitated by the Education Policy Network and there will be plenty of snacks and drinks to share.
Some of the topics to discuss will include:

• Reasons underlying the government´s failure to meet teacher recruitment and retention targets.
• Individual case studies outlining problems faced by schools and professionals in regards to teacher retention.
• Ideas to cope with excessive teacher workload at the individual and whole school level.
