Event Details

Celebrate midwinter's new beginnings with us and brave the freezing waters of Lula Lake! This is the ONE day out of the entire year we allow the public to swim in Lula Lake. It's a tradition to bring good luck in the year to come!

We'll help you out to the launching point in the lake and countdown. Then you'll jump into the cleansing water to rid any bad luck of 2019. You can be bold and dare to take the plunge, or you can just come and watch. Jumper tickets are $25 per person (includes one free beer), and spectator tickets are $10 per person. Chili, beer, warm beverages, and soda will be available for purchase. Our hiking trails will be open from Noon to 4pm.

Ticket proceeds benefit Lula Lake Land Trust and its conservation initiatives. These initiatives can include but are not limited to ongoing trail maintenance, education endeavors, and providing Open Gate Days to the public.

This event is sponsored by The Mountain Girls, Keller Williams Greater Downtown Realty and Kelly Subaru.

Note: If there isn't enough interest in this event, Lula Lake will make the call to cancel the event and issue refunds.
