PoetryMic presents an array of talented poets. This month’s poets are Philip Terman, Linda Albert, Lily Karins and Linda Goodman Robiner.

About this month's poets:

Philip Terman's newest book of poetry is Our Portion: New and Selected Poems. His previous collections are The Torah Garden, What Survives: Poems, The House of Sages, and others. In addition to his books he has published poetry in journals such as The Georgia Review, Poetry, Tikkun and The Kenyon Review.

Terman's awards include the Anna Davidson Rosenberg Award for Poems on the Jewish Experience and the Kenneth Patchen Prize for Poetry. He is a professor at Clarion University where he where directs the visiting writers’ program. He is a contributing editor of the journal, Chautauqua and co-director & founder of the annual Chautauqua Writers’ Festival.

Linda Albert is an internationally published award-winning poet, essayist, and former theater director. A certified Jungian Archetypal Pattern Analyst and communication coach with a Master Certification in Neurolinguistics, Linda’s poetry is influenced by her interest and academic training in those areas as well as by the changing roles of contemporary women and her personal joys, struggles, and insights. Her awards include the Olivet and Dyer-Ives Foundation Poetry Prizes and the Atlanta Review’s International Merit Award for poetry.

Lily Karins is a high school student and college hopeful from Sarasota, FL. She is currently unpublished, but is excited to share her poetry with more of the world.

Linda Goodman Robiner coaches poets, facilitates writing workshops, and edits poetry and prose. Her chapbook,Reverse Fairy Tale, was published by Pudding House Press. Over 250 of her poems have been published as well as short stories and articles. Linda developed and implemented arts and education programming for schools and for public television and taught at the university level for many years. She is a longtime member of two poetry groups in northeastern Ohio.
