Description

Poetry You Can See

The poems that leave us different after reading them are often so mundane and so simple. First you are reading about an artichoke, and by the end, you are remembering what it is to love and be loved. Poetry You Can See will focus on using the language of the every day, the ordinary, to write deeply, feeling pieces of work. We will explore metaphor, imagery, and the entire spectrum of human emotion. If you've ever found beauty in washing the dishes, joy in a well organized grocery aisle, or grief in salt crusted boots, this workshop is for you.

*No previous writing or photography experience is necessary.

Taught by Bee Walsh, poet
