EVENT DETAILS

On the afternoon of July 19th, all the world’s a stage!

Join us at 12:30pm on SPAC grounds as Radial Arts presents Under the Sea, a festive afternoon of aquatic-themed dance, music, and theatre, including premiere performances of The Coral Sea, a short play written by Alexandra Marello (Skidmore College), and The Little Prince and the Planet of Music, a new composition created through Saratoga Chamber Players’ “Classroom to Concert” program with students from the Lake Ave Elementary School. Plus, enjoy enchanting activities for the whole family, including face painting, bubble making, and make-your-own pirate hats & mermaid crowns!

At 2pm, the event culminates with a staged performance of a one-hour adaptation of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest, directed by Marcus Dean Fuller for Saratoga Shakespeare Company. The immersive performance will take place in the Spa State Park Reflecting Pool - next to the Hall of Springs and just steps outside the SPAC gates.

Advance registration is recommended.
Day of registration available starting at 12pm at the Route 50 gate.
