Cost: $50, plus $55 Materials Kit

Techniques: Metal clay, wire weaving, wire wrapping, texturing, torch work and design

Fish Tales Class description: Create a stunning bracelet while learning a variety of jewelry making skills. In this class students will weave a herring bone style bracelet using leather and wire. Then they will learn the basics of silver clay while making either a charm or link to attach, creating a unique bracelet. Students will also learn how to make torch fired headpins and wrapped crystal drops. This is a fun class for the beginner and expert student who wants to take their jewelry making skills to a whole new level. All materials and tools are provided. Most people will complete this project in class.

Prerequisites/skills needed: Must be at least 16 years of age

Materials you are required to bring: Instructor provides all tools, supplies and materials for use in class.

Kit Contents: 5 grams of metal clay, 8 inches of leather cord, 1 foot of 26-gauge silver wire, 16-gauge copper wire, silver and copper jump rings, 1 4-mm and 1 8-mm Swarovski crystal bead and, 20 Czech glass beads.

Note: All materials and tools provided but if you have any special beads you would like to use, bring them along.
