Event description

Description

Welcome to our first Plunkett's - Mind Matters Talk in association with Kinvara Pharmacy (part of the Meaghers Pharmacy Group).

We are delighted to host an information evening with a varied panel of speakers to raise awareness of a number of topics such as Anxiety, Gambling, Depression and the importance of Positive Mental Health. Our panelists are Brent Pope (rugby analyst and positive mental health advocate), Oisin McConville (ex Armagh and Crossmaglen footballer, author of 'The Gambler' and now a trained counsellor) and Alan O'Mara (Plunketts and Cavan footballer and author of 'The Best is Yet to Come'). The event will be facilitated by Tom Maher (Plunketts member and Director of Services, St. Patrick's Mental Health Services).

A panel discussion and Q&A will follow a brief discussion by each of the speakers.

The discussion is open for all members from U/14 to adult, male and female (14's to 16's must be accompanied by a parent / guardian).

All people intending to attend must register online to guarantee admission. Training is being re-scheduled on the night to allow teams to attend.

Admission Fee: Adults - €5.00 (payable at the door), 18's and under - Free

Hope you can make it !!
