Dougan Sherwood, director of Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) and @4240 tenant, will unveil Venture Café, a new networking event series coming to St. Louis.

Wexford Science & Technology, LLC, now part of BioMed Realty, is renovating the second phase of Cortex’s 190,000-square-foot, $73 million @4240 building in into a state-of-the-art, sustainable, multi-tenant laboratory and research facility. Among the building’s first tenants are Washington University’s Offices of Technology Management and Research Administration and Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC-STL).  When completed, @4240 will have the capabilities and infrastructure to support a variety of types of research from small start-ups to established corporate users from around the country looking to relocate to or expand within St. Louis.  @4240 is part of the $186 million second phase of development at Cortex, which also includes the construction of a $45 million office building for BJC Healthcare and major infrastructure improvements.
