About this Event
“Writing to each other is the only comfort we have in such long separations” - Sense and Sensibility
Valentine’s Day gives us the perfect excuse to write to each other during these long days of separation. Join us for a fun class where we’ll make Valentine cards together to send and to share. Working with card stock in different colors, handmade and patterned papers, stickers and hearts, you'll create 6-10 unique Valentine cards.
Share the love by donating some or all of your finished cards to older adults, who are clients of our Arlington, Mass. Meals on Wheels, who are living alone and would appreciate the gift during these difficult times.
Everyone will be provided with a packet of materials ahead of time. All you will need to provide are: any additional materials you would like to use, scissors, tape and/or glue stick and plain paper to use as a placemat.
Attendees limited to 25. Registration closes Monday, Jan. 25
NOTE: You must be able to pick up your packet of materials at the Robbins Library, 700 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, Mass. Pick up details will be sent to registered attendees on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
