About this event
Today, businesses, non-profits, associations, and NGO’s and even public sector agencies are faced with a bewildering array of mixed signals as they attempt to navigate economic and political risks and opportunities into their strategy. Under the pressure of the prevailing trends, leaders must incorporate geopolitical insight and foresight in their organizational plans. In an increasingly connected world, an action or event in a far away country can have significant impact on the business environment here at home.
We live in a hybrid world of various political and economic systems. Our planet operates under hybrid systems of varying levels of economic development, prosperity, and means and systems of wealth generation. We each have a role to play. Businesses often innovate faster. Non-profits and NGO’s often incubate better. And often, governments and governments alone can support, regulate, and incentivize large scale projects. All three stakeholders are sensitive to megatrends and must be engaged for effective hybrid solutions in our hybrid world.
John will talk to the 12 Government Megatrends and define the six factors that are essential to consider as project portfolios/programs look at an emerging landscape of risk.
