Chef John Herndon and the staff of Plow & Anchor are excited to present a sparkling wine and champagne dinner in partnership with Southern Wine and Spirits. The dinner will feature 5 courses with 5 pairings. Featured wines include: Moet & Chandon Imperial, Benvolio Prosecco, Chandon Riche, Chandon Etoile Rose, and Ruinart Blanc de Blanc.
There is also an optional VIP package that includes the 5 course pairing dinner, as well as a Prosecco cocktail and oyster pairing beforehand and a bottle of the featured Prosecco. This cocktail and appetizer time will take place at 6:15 pm with dinner seating starting at 7pm.
The menu is as follows:
VIP Cocktail Course - Prosecco Cocktail - Oysters on the half shell, lemongrass, sea salt foam
Course One - Benvolio Prosecco - "Rabbit in its' den" - Confit rabbit, anjou pear nest, arugula, preserved lemon vinaigrette, ricotta snow
Course Two - Moet & Chandon Imperial - "Laughter is Carbonated Holiness" - Laughing bird shrimp, chipotle & tofu risotto, cocoa nib crumble, saffron carrot gel
Course Three - Chandon Etoile Rose - "Champagne: the wine of kings, the king of wines" - Gingerbread & cardamom salmon, winter's ratatouille, rose mojito spheres
Course Four - Ruinart Blanc de Blancs - "Farm to Table, Flute to Plate" - Roasted Quail, BBQ caramels, sour cream biscuit, citrus & soy butter
Course Five - Chandon Riche - "The meal is ending, the Jello jiggling" - Champagne ginger ale jello, caramelized milk powder, winter stone fruit pop rocks
