Plein-Air Workshop

Head into the natural beauty of Tejon Ranch with your paints and an open spirit. Contemporary oil painter and motivational guide Christopher L Cook, will be leading a group of Artists on a plein-air excursion. You will have the serene time and space reserved to rediscover your connection to nature and self. Each day CLCook will demonstrate his expressive techniques clearly, and embolden you to look for compositions in a unique way that involves developing your intuition. On the final day, after having created multiple on location paintings, this uncommon workshop will take your paintings further in the studio for a day of reflection and reinvention. From plein-air to a larger studio painting, you will learn how to keep the original charm of your plein-air work, while editing and accentuating aspects to enhance your concept.
