This symposium will feature research that has been on-going for the past 6 years to understand and enhance medical students’ retention of anatomical knowledge.

The work to date has included a cross-disciplinary team of 6 faculty and 8 students, and produced 2 published papers, 1 interview media article, 16 abstracts (5 platform oral presentations, 16 poster presentations, 4 awards) and 2 websites of learning modules.

Colleagues from Australia, Ireland, Italy and Lebanon who are joining the exploration of the knowledge retention strategies in their varied curricula will discuss their models and retention issues.
