Playspace Volunteer Information Session | Leicester & Worcester
Overview
Horizons for Homeless Children is the state’s leading organization devoted exclusively to serving homeless children. We focus our efforts on helping young children mitigate the trauma and stress associated with homelessness through high quality early education, comprehensive support services, and opportunities to play in shelter.
Can children experiencing homelessness count on you?
Horizons Playspace program provides young children in homeless shelters a safe and dedicated space to play, learn, and have fun! Playspaces include toys, books, and activities to engage creativity, imagination, physical and social development. Playspaces are staffed with trained, caring, volunteers, called PALs (Playspace Activity Leaders), who commit to volunteering at the same time and same shelter location for two hours each week.
We hope you'll join us for an information session to learn more!
