Join us on Town Center at RUNWAY in Playa Vista for the annual Playa Vista FriendsGiving gathering with our friends at Microkickboard for some active scooter games, a very special musical Story Time and book swap by Books and Cookies, Kindness card-making project by Local Anchor, snacks + drinks, giftbags PLUS a very exciting giveaway lineup including MicroKickboard Scooters, LA Kings Tickets and more!
Books and Cookies is hosting a book swap and donation plus a very special musical Story Time to celebrate THANKSGIVING by sharing stories and songs to be thankful for! Have new or gently used books filling your shelves that you've loved, but no longer read? Bring them to swap for someone else's previously read and loved treasures.
All ages welcome - board books, picture books and chapter books! Remaining books will be donated to families in need.
This year, we are helping support a local non-profit organization, Momentum by collecting SOCKS for their Adopt a Family Holiday Drive efforts, which are to support 100 families with Holiday Gifts! We are asking each family to donate NEW Kids or Adults socks to earn extra giveaway tickets!
