We will then cover history of play therapy set in the developing mental health environment, from Freud until today; review of initial theories; basic trans-theoretical facilitative responses; and setting up the play therapy room. The person of the play therapist will also be discussed, including traits and skills. Developmental and neurobiology information will be woven throughout.
