Event description

Description

Meet-Up Goal
To connect with folks who are interested in all aspects of theater, have fun reading (or listening to) a play, and spread the word about opportunities to get involved in theater.

Meet-Up Description
Join members of the White River Valley Players for a play-reading evening! Meet folks who are interested in theater and connect about other theater opportunities in the area. A play reading is a casual event; this is not a performance, and there's no memorizing. Parts are assigned on the fly to people who want them and read out loud from scripts. We will read a few short comedies together. You're welcome to come and listen, too!

Leader(s): Jennie Marx, White River Valley Players http://www.whiterivervalleyplayers.org/
Jennie Marx has been involved in community and regional theater in Vermont for several years. A resident of Bethel, she is a member of the White River Valley Players. Other noted White River Valley Players, including Erica Robinson and Dorothy Robson, will be lending their expertise to this meet-up.

Number of Sessions: This group meets one time.

Materials to Bring: N/A

Restrictions or Requirements: Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and be able to sit quietly and listen.
