Event Details

To celebrate the Centenary of Women's Suffrage - Votes for Women visit CROADS at the Victory Hall where we have collaborated with the local Library and the Loughton Historical Society to put on a small exhibition, themed on 'Votes For Women', and featuring interesting facts and memorabilia about Chigwell and the surrounding area during that time. You can browse, take refreshment, tea, coffee, biscuits etc, or buy a drink at the bar and then  be entertained by readings of both lighthearted & thought-provoing poems and monologues followed by a short play.

Chigwell Row Operatic and Dramatic Society CROADS are proud to present a One Act  light hearted Play by Jean Lenox Toddie 'And Go To Innisfree'- based on the W B Yeats poem- 'The Lake at Innisfree'.

An old woman has come to the beach to make a decision, but will she make it alone? Will she listen to the child she once was or to the sensible Mother she became?

Friday 25 May and Saturday 26 May doors open 7.15PM for 8PM start -  Ticket price  £10:00 You can pay via our website  from Mid-April

Saturday 2:30PM doors open for the Exhibition only FREE of CHARGE
