Taste the amazing flavors of Jalisco, Mexico! As a part of our current exhibition, Consuelo Perez will be sharing her recipes and stories.
About this event
As a part of LA Plaza Cocina's special exhibition, Abuelita's Kitchen: Mexican Food Stories, Consuelo Perez, one of the grandmothers, will be sharing her story, along with making her Quesadilla de Maize.
Perez is an advocate for at-risk youth and after school programs. She is an avid fundraiser in her community as well as being known for her delicious cooking.
Participants will enjoy a morning of conversation and taste her famous quesadillas with salsa and horchata.
