Plantspiration® presents FREE virtual Kickstart Your Health Nutrition Education & Cooking Classes!

About this Event

There has never been a better time to focus on your health and this will make learning how even easier right from your own home!

Food for Life is an award-winning nutrition education and cooking class program that provides an innovative and evidence based approach to diet-related chronic diseases. Designed by physicians, nurses, and registered dietitians, Food for Life promotes healthful eating based on the latest scientific research.

This class is designed to teach you just how easy, inexpensive and delicious it is to go plant based! This class is for anyone who is considering adopting a healthy plant-based diet for ANY reason. This five-class series, Food For Life: Kickstart Your Health, explains why a plant-based diet can be effective in weight-loss, management of weight-loss, preventing and reversing disease and improving overall health and quality of life.

Classes will be held online Wednesday evenings March 25 through April 22 from 6:00-7:00pm and with each class we will watch a video from PCRM, take a quiz, and I will live demo 2-3 recipes with an opportunity for Q&A afterwards! You will have all the recipes and tools you need emailed to you before each class.

Complete series is FREE and you will earn a completion certificate for this nutrition class.

Learn that health-promoting foods, recipes, and meals can be easy, convenient and tastes great! Each 60 minute class INCLUDES: LIVE, in-class food demos and hands-on cooking with Stefanie's in-depth food prep knowledge, Q&A, recipes, educational materials all in a supportive group. Recipes are designed to work for people on a budget who may also have minimal time or access to equipment. More importantly, each ingredient supports a low-fat, plant-based diet plan that has been proven to prevent, manage, and in some cases reverse chronic diseases such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, autoimmune disease, and even some forms of cancer.

This event is hosted by Plantspiration® and taught by Stefanie Ignoffo, a licensed Food For Life instructor with the Physicians Committee For Responsible Medicine.
