Event Information

Grassroots Ecology and Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District are partnering to install a habitat garden at Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve. Join us in planting the garden this winter!

Who: Volunteers of all ages are welcome; minors under 18 need the online waiver form approved by a parent/guardian and children under 12 require an accompanying adult. Groups can contact Kristen Williams at kristen AT grassrootsecology DOT org for a private event.

What: Volunteers will plant California native plants in our new habitat garden.

When: Sunday, January 21, 9:30 AM - Noon

Where: Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve parking lot on Skyline Blvd. We will meet at the parking lot on the corner of Skyline Blvd and Pagemill Road. Pleae carpool if possible.

IMPORTANT: There is no cell reception up on Skyline Blvd. Please make sure you have the correct location ahead of time.

Please bring: A reusable water bottle and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended). We provide gloves and tools.

If you sign up but are not able to attend, please let the event organizer know so that your spot can be available for another volunteer.
