Event description

Description

Many people have asked Focus on the Family to bring its “Wait No More” conference to Spokane and North Idaho for many years. Together, the Spokane Fatherhood Initiative and Adopt Idaho are pleased to announce that the event is coming to Spokane on September 22, 2018!

Join us February 28th at 10 a.m. as we launch our planning efforts and build a local host committee for this conference, We will be honored to have Sharen Ford, Program Director, Adoptions and Orphan Care, Focus on the Family here to discuss and evaluate how to make the most out of the Wait No More Conference. Sharen also is instrumental in the "127" movements across the country.

This is a grassroots meeting for anyone involved with foster care and adoption and who has a heart to see more children have permanent placements. We invite representatives from government agencies, non-profits, churches and ministries to attend. Registration in advance is requested.

If you are interested but unable to attend, click on the register button and then register using the "Interested but unable to attend" button. We will keep you informed of future meetings.

The Spokane Fatherhood Initiative (SpoFI) and its ministry Spokane 127 and Adopt Idaho are the organizers of this event, but a succcessful Wait No More conference will require a major coordinated effort from across the community. We value your input and expertise.

We believe that through this event God is going to call dozens if not hundreds of families to foster care and/or adoption. Our vision is to see the Spokane and North Idaho area become a collection of communities in which there are more families waiting for children than there are children waiting for families. You have been warned: 2018 will be a transformative year. You don’t want to miss out!

For further information, those in eastern Washington should contact Robbin Hatten, 562-355-7008 or by email at drhatten@aol.com . For Idaho participants, please contact Brenda Torres (208) 771-2470 or email btorres@snapsinc.org .
