Keynote Presentation
- What can we learn about services that matter to children with ASD from following them from age 2 - age 22 presented by Catherine Lord, Ph.D., Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry and founding Director of the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain (CADB).

Dr. Lord has been involved in a research project now for over 20 years in which she has followed over 200 children who were all referred for assessment of possible autism when they were under 3 years of age. Participants will be able to name two aspects of development in autism that often remain over time, name one factor in early devleopment in autism that predicts improvements in the next few years, and learn the treatment factor in our study that predicted better outcome.

Participants will them be able to choose from one presenation to attend for Session 1 (A or B) and one presentation for Sesson 2 (A or B).

Literacy Skill Development: Creating a balanced literacy program that supports children with Autism Spectrum Disorders presented by Susan J. Whittaker, Ed.D., or
Session 2B-Active ingredients of successful early intervention for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders presented by Stephen R. Anderson, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA
