Event description

Description

On March 20, 2019, Research & Graduate Studies is hosting a full-day grant proposal writing seminar for PSU graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. The renowned Dr. Peg Atkinson will facilitate this free workshop. Seating is limited with tickets available on a first come, first served basis. RGS will provide breakfast and lunch.

The day-long "Planning and Writing Successful Grant Proposals" training session combines lecture format and engagement activities designed to convey the fundamentals of proposal writing. Participants will learn the why beneath the how—concepts backed up with concrete tips, operational strategies, and tools for planning and longer-term sustainability that can impact both the proposal and its writer.

RGS will host a similar seminar for PSU faculty in May 2019. If you have questions, or register for the workshop but learn you are unable to attend at a later date, please contact Shaun McGillis at mcgillis@pdx.edu.
