Program Overview

A Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification will provide recognition of your experience and skills in project planning, and developing, monitoring, updating, forecasting and analyzing integrated project schedules. The PSP certification is recognized internationally and is a recognised pathway for obtaining chartered status for Engineers with Engineers Australia. This course will provide coverage of the planning and scheduling knowledge and skills required to become certified Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP).

Training Methodology

This course is delivered through face to face training to facilitate the student-to-student interaction and student-to-trainer discussions and knowledge sharing. There will be a number of exercises to be performed individually and in groups. The course is delivered to facilitate for visual (diagrammatic slides), auditory (narration of concepts), read/write (note taking materials) and kinaesthetic learners (hands on exercises).

Who is your trainer?

Santosh Bhat is a civil engineer and a certified Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) with 15 years’ experience in Project Planning and Controls.

He operates as an independent consultant to projects or organisations looking to improve their capabilities and deliver results though improved Project Planning and Scheduling.

Holding an Engineering degree and Masters in Engineering Management, Santosh is a certified Planning and Time Controls Professional with over 15 years of relevant experience in the engineering and construction sector.

Santosh is passionate about improving both the expectations and deliverables of Planning, Programming/Scheduling and Schedule Risk Analysis, for these skills to be a key component in an organisations ability to meet its commercial objectives and reduce risk in delivering to these objectives.

Santosh's expertise includes delivering training workshops on project planning and risk analysis, the strategic development of business standards, assurance procedures, systems implementation and support, maturity assessments and knowledge management for Planning, Time Controls and Schedule Risk Analysis.
