Announcing the opening of PLAE Academy
The vision: After having taught for 8 years, I came to realize that the small classes often had the advantage of getting more done and each student got individual attention. When I had a class of 10, I was able to really help each and every student achieve their goals. When I had a class of 33, many students lost out. When I satrted teaching artists I learned that the same rule applied. The larger classes ended up not being as effective as the smaller ones, so I decided to take this model and make it available and accessible for artists of all income levels. The goal is to build a completely virtually school which teaches all of the things artists, don't get to learn. For this the pilot program, I have broken down my own lessons into 8 very specific classes. As the school grows, I will bring on other instructors and offer more classes.
How it works: Just like a school, PLAE Academy will offer very specific targeted class offerings. The classes are limited to five seats. If all seats in the class are filled, then the class will be taught, if under 5 enroll, the class will not be taught. If a class fills up quickly and there is demand, a second section of the class will be opened. Once enrolled, you will be notified when your class is full. As soon as it is, you will get the location emailed to you with any other materials.
