Description

Londoners who are passionate about the places they live are coming together for the first annual Place Matters Conference: Strengthening Neighbourhoods, Building Community. This day-long event will feature a community conversation with Brent Toderian, pracitioner and thought leader in urbanism and advocate for creative, vibrant city building. The day will also include workshops and trade fair-style booths, and opportunities to learn from one another about how to do great things in your neighbourhood.

This conference is for neighbourhood groups and Londoners who are passionate about community building. There will be tools, resources, how-tos and expert advice, as well as the chance to network with others who are passionate about strengthening their neighbourhood.

The conference will take place on Saturday, September 28th at Museum London, 421 Ridout Street. While there is paid parking available, we encourage attendees to take active transportation. The doors open at 9:30am, with the event starting at 10:00am and ending at 4:00pm.

Coffee, Tea and Lunch will be provided. We are asking attendees to please bring a water bottle and travel mug for their beverages, to keep this event as low-waste as possible.

There are only be 175 tickets for this event.
