This is a technical workshop for professionals using drones for precision agriculture and related applications. The workshop will enable you to create accurate maps, improve your results, and seemlessly incorporate your project into an existing workflow. The workshop is taught in-person by Pix4D staff.
What to Expect
Kickstart your workflow by learning about Pix4D's recommended best practices when capturing and processing your imagery. With each order you are eligible to purchase one 30-day license to Pix4Dmapper Pro that will be provided onsite on the day of the workshop.
Nathan Stein, Application Engineer with senseFly, will be onsite to discuss real world examples of how drones and image processing integrate with precision agriculture applications.

Q: What level of experience is the Precision Agriculture User Workshop intended for?
A: The Pix4D Precision Agriculture User workshop is intended for anyone who is getting started. We will address best practices for data acquisition and the basic processing options and workflows. While the workshop can be attended without any previous exposure to Pix4Dmapper, we recommend that you process at least one project prior to attending to get the most out of the workshop.

Q: Where exactly will the workshop take place? What is the address of the event location?
A: Signs will be posted on the day of the event and you will receive more detailed information about the location of the workshop in the days leading up to the event.
Q: Do I need a license to Pix4Dmapper to take advantage of the workshop?
A: It is not necessary that you own a license to Pix4Dmapper to take advantage of the workshop. If you choose to not purchase a 30-day license when you register for the workshop and do not already own a license to Pix4Dmapper, you will be provided with a license for the duration of the workshop so that you may follow along.
Q: Should I bring my laptop to the User Workshop?
A: You are welcome to bring your laptop to the workshop to follow along during the live demonstration. If you choose to bring your own laptop we recommend that it comprise at least 8 GB RAM, 20 GB HDD free space, and a GPU that supports OpenGL 3.2. Computers will not be provided on the day of the workshop.
Q: Should I bring my drone?
A: Please do not bring your drone to the workshop.
Q: May I redeem my 30-day license to Pix4Dmapper Pro prior to the workshop? When can I redeem my 30-day license to Pix4Dmapper Pro?
A: If you choose to purchase a discounted 30-day license to Pix4Dmapper Pro, the license will be provided to you onsite on the day of the workshop. If you would like to start processing with Pix4Dmapper Pro before the workshop, please either request a trial license from the Pix4Dmapper Welcome Tab, or purchase a license at https://mapper.pix4d.com/store. The 30-day license can be redeemed at any time during or after the workshop.
Q: Is it possible to purchase more than one 30-day license to Pix4Dmapper Pro when I register?
A: Every attendee is entitled to one discounted 30-day license to Pix4Dmapper Pro.
Q: May I resell the 30-day license to Pix4Dmapper Pro?
A: Licenses to Pix4Dmapper Pro may not be resold, redistributed, or licensed to third parties.
Q: Can I attend the workshop remotely by WebEx, phone, or conference call?
A: The workshop may be attended in person and is not available for remote attendance.
Q: Is food provided at the workshop?
A: Lunch is included with your ticket.
