Pitch Your Senior Thesis
Event Information
Description
THE PUBLIC SPEAKING PROGRAM AND THE HARVARD COLLEGE WRITING CENTER PRESENT
Pitch Your Senior Thesis
WHAT
The Pitch Your Thesis workshop is an opportunity to take a step back from writing your thesis and focus on the big picture: Can you clearly articulate your main argument? Can you explain why your research matters/what you hope to contribute to your field? Will you be ready to present your ideas clearly and effectively in an oral presentation or at the 3-Minute Thesis Competition later this spring? (Check out last year’s 3MT pitches here!)
Faculty from Expos 40 will lead a workshop to help you develop an elevator pitch version of your thesis. You will then have a chance to present your pitch from the Queen’s Head stage to a supportive audience.
