'I Believe Great Ideas Need A Voice - and a Great Pitch!'
So let's get to work and start winning business and investment with your outstanding pitches.
On 25th November, leading Pitch Coach David Beckett will give a practical, hands on, full day workshop - and bring you the tools that have helped hundreds of Startups raise over €90 Million investment.
And experienced VC Frank Appeldoorn from Volta Ventures will be joining for a 1-hour interview and Question and Answer session. Frank will give insight into what a VC is expecting from a pitch.
As a Startup and a professional, you present yourself in short, sharp pitches again and again - to investors, potential customers and partners, at network events and to anyone that could help you reach your goal.
So what should you say, and how should you say it?
How can you be sure to get the results you want from your audience?
David has interviewed numerous investors and corporate board members to find out what they want to hear in pitches for investment and resources.
He's distilled years of research down into a precise set of content blocks, and gives you the framework to adapt your story to your audience - and reach your objective with every pitch.
What you will learn;
This workshop is an active full day program, which guides you through the complete process of how to Script, Design and Deliver winning pitches.
You'll work through;
- How to open a pitch; how to focus on key messages and reduce complexity; and how to close your pitch like a true professional, with a call to action that gets results.
- You'll find out how to simplify your slides, and get the tools you need to strengthen your story with the right graphics.
- You'll also learn the ways to enhance your pitch with the right body language - and get a checklist of typical errors to avoid.
How it works; this is a DO session
This workshop gives you the pitching tools you need - and the space to try them out.
David has developed a methodology that enables you to test parts of your pitch and receive feedback from a variety of different people.
That means you sharpen your words and phrases during the workshop, and you learn a method to do the same for any pitch in the future.
What you will leave with;
- A 20-Second Handshake pitch for every network event you ever attend
- A One Minute Pitch
- A Three Minute Pitch
- Printed copy: The Pitch Canvas© and The Pitch Canvas© explained
- Printed copy: The Open-3-Close© Pitch Model and The Open-3-Close© Model explained

The PitchTrainer App FREE
David explains why you get the App.
"During the workshop, you will try out various tools to help you sharpen and target your pitch in a very hands-on day. But I don't want you to join this workshop and go away without changing what you do on an ongoing basis.
That's why I've created the PitchProfessional app - which packages documents, video tips and example pitch videos, so that you have a constant resource available to help you prepare for any pitch in the future."

See David in Action;
David explains why ticket prices go up
"The sooner I know how many people are in, the sooner I can book the workshop space, lunch, and other materials. This means I can keep the costs down for me - and for you.
Besides - shouldn't people who commit early get the benefit of being bold and making a quick decision?
I have a simple goal: that your ideas have a VOICE. Let's get as many people together as we can, and help each other find our voice for all of our great ideas!"
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
No stress: there is easy parking at B Amsterdam.
Cycling? It's just 25 minutes from De Pijp, and about the same from Amstelveen.
Public Transport? Just check Google or Apple maps, and the advice will flow.
If lots of people attend, how can I practice my pitch?
Over the last years, I've been perfecting a method that works for 10 people, and 1000 people. There's no rocket science - it's called PPP (Peer to Peer Pitching) and enables you to get numerous points of view during the workshop. This is more effective than more costly 1:1 coaching.
