About this Event

ALL ARE WELCOME! This event is rain or shine!

Each year, Westchester Parks Foundation and the Westchester County Parks Department host Pitch in for Parks, our largest volunteer program which falls around Earth Day!

On Day 5 of this initiative, volunteers will remove debris and litter from the trails and quarry, weed & rake in the butterfly garden as well as remove invasive plants in Cranberry Lake Preserve. No experience is necessary!

All tools will be provided but please bring your own water. VOLUNTEERS MUST ARRIVE ON SITE WITH THEIR OWN MASK & PRACTICE SAFE SOCIAL DISTANCING. Volunteers should wear clothes that can get dirty and closed toe shoes.

Once you are registered, an email including day of information regarding meeting location, appropriate attire & insurance paperwork for minors will be emailed to you one-two days before the event.

If you have any questions, please contact Erin Cordiner at Erin@thewpf.org

We look forward to seeing you there!
