About this event
Welcome to Pint Size Protesters' first in-person event of 2021!
We're looking forward to bringing the issue of houselessness and racism into the spotlight in a kid-friendly way with:
- A short lesson on what it means to be "unhoused or "houseless," its connection to racism, and the impact racism has on unhoused people
- A discussion on ways we can help the houseless in our own community
- A hands-on activity where we'll make compassion kits for local houseless people
This is an outdoor event, but masks and social distancing are required for all age-appropriate kids and adults .
Please bring chairs and/or blankets for your family.
Light snacks will be provided.
