Description

Pink Tie Event set for Thursday, October 25, 2018, to honor breast cancer survivors in the DMV.

Duvalier Malone Enterprises, LLC in partnership with Tasha Stewart of the Lois’ Lane nonprofit will present the 2018 Pink Tie Party event to recognize the impact we have had on the breast cancer movement. This year, we will host a casual event at Southern Hospitality! Our Pink Tie Party for the Cure will begin with our traditional silent auction and dancing. Participants are encouraged to dress casually but wear a pink accent – shirt, tie, scarf, shoes, jewelry, etc.

The festive evening will feature a presentation of the select 2018 honorees and survivors from the Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland coverage area. Duvalier Malone Enterprises will honor Tasha Stewart with the Women of Courage Award. Tasha was 43 when she was diagnosed with stage 2b breast Cancer. She is a single mother of four (4) children and work in the Civil Rights arena. Tasha went through two years of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, radiation, and reconstructive surgery. She is currently cancer survivor, who loves sharing her testimony. Tasha is partnering with organizations to provide aid, help and support to the homeless population who is undergoing cancer treatment. The goal is to call out to individuals, enterprises and organizations to donate to this cause, which will enable us to give consistently greater resources to those in need.

The event is free and open to the public.

All proceeds from this event will go to Lois’ Lane nonprofit. ALL funds are allocated to charitable causes fighting cancer here in DMV area.
