bread knows no cultural bounds. across nearly every race, country and religion, bread is seen as a peace offering.
we are excited to partner with melinda friend, owner of 'knead and know', and all-around bread baking expert.
in this workshop, you'll learn how to make a classic, versatile olive oil dough. together we will learn skills like weighing ingredients, kneading, folding, slashing, and loading. melinda will cover the art of the bread-making process — from starting dough to pre-ferments to cold fermentation, you'll leave confident and ready to ditch the store bought stuff stat.
at the end of the class, we will enjoy melinda's to-die-for homemade focaccia, baguettes and country loaves with dips + spreads and get to know her story. you'll also go home with a ready to bake loaf and starter, and all the tools to keep baking at home.
