About The Pine Hollow Arboretum:

The Pine Hollow Arboretum’s mission is to preserve, manage and enhance native and introduced species of trees, shrubs and other plants in a natural environment. Pine Hollow’s horticultural collection, or “living library”, consists of over 3,600 unique trees, shrubs and other woody plants from around the world, some of which are rare and/or endangered. This living collection is aesthetically arranged in a natural setting that includes 11 ponds and an Eastern White Pine forest. A network of walking trails and bridges throughout the preserve allow visitors of all ages to enjoy the grounds and connect with nature.

Each year, The Pine Hollow Arboretum provides hands-on environmental education to over 500 elementary and high school students. The goal of this programming is to impact a diverse audience to provide meaningful opportunities for students to experience hands-on learning in a natural environment. The Pine Hollow Arboretum aims to shape the next generation of environmental stewards, educators and leaders.
