Pilot Job Fair on Saturday January 14th in Phoenix, AZ. Come and join us for exciting career opportunities. The dress code is business attire (shirt and tie). The price of the ticket is for all-day admission and all the seminars are included.
The job fair will held at the Sheraton Phoenix Airport Hotel- Tempe, AZ.
You do not need to meet the flight time minimums in order to attend or talk to the recruiters.
Friday January 13th 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Saturday January 14th 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday January 14th 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
There will be a one hour lunch break from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Lunch is not provided.
A career seminar will start at 11:00 AM. We will be discussing what to expect at the job fair, how to present yourself to the recruiter and what is expected of a pilot candidate. This presentation should last 30 minutes. At the end we will do a Q&A session.
Starting at noon, companies will be making a presetnation about themselves and wil be held throughout the day. The schedule will be posted at the registration table.

American Eagle- (12/16 Update) Still attending job fair, subject to change, but not recruiting pilots. They want to be able to talk to pilots about the situation at American Eagle. Check back for updates

500 total fixed wing time and 50 total fixed wing multi-time -Upon successful completion of recruitment process, candidates will be required to complete ATP’s Regional Jet Standards Course (course paid for by American Eagle)

A new entrant Part 121 air carrier engaged in the FAA certification process, anticipating the beginning of revenue service in 2012. Minimums of 3000 TT (1700 TT for Military), 1500 Turboprop or Turbofan, 1000 PIC, ATP, US Passport, FCC License, 4 year college degree. Check airman experience, E-170/190 experience preferred. They are intially hiring check airman and then line pilots. You will meet John Ross, Senior VP of Flight Operations at the job fair.
Cape Air- Minimums for Captains are ATP mins. First Officer minimums are 1000 TT.
Compass Airlines- 1500 TT, ATP Minimums. Pilots who completed Jet Transition Course or an approved 141 Flight School have reduced minimums.
GoJet Airlines- Minimums of 700 TT and 100 Multi. Hiring street captains, 4500 TT.
Great Lakes Airlines- Minimum 750 TT, 50 Multi. 35 Hrs in last 90 days. 80 Hrs in last 6 months. High level of instrument proficiency. Please have an on-line application filled out.
Kalitta Air- (01/11 Update) Cancelled- Will not be attending job fair
Minimum 5,000 TT, 2,500 Jet. Preference will be given to those who have heavy experience or glass time.
Qatar Airways- Hiring Captains, First Officers and Second Officers
Second officers - Fast track
Minimum of 1,500 hours in a modern multipilot turbo-prop greater than 12,000 kg MTOW
SkyWest- Minimum 1000 TT, 100 Multi, 100 instrument.
US Airways- Minimums, 1500 hours turboprop/turbojet flight time, FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine Land and Instrument Rating, English Proficient Endorsement and successful completion of the Airline Transport Pilot Written Exam or; Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Preferred) Multi Engine Land Rating and English Proficient Endorsement. FCC Radio Telephone Operator Permit, FAA First Class Medical Certificate, 23 years of age, ability to perform all essential duties in all aircraft and in all First Officer positions for aircraft operated by US Airways, current Passport, legal right to work in the United States of America, must be fluent (able to read, write, and speak) in the English Language, Four year college degree (Preferred).
Attending Flight Schools:
Aerosim Flight Academy- Will be recruiting flight instructors. They need to hire 50 instructors.
Airline Training Center of Arizona- ATCA will be recruiting flight instructors. Salary during training (6-8 weeks, 40K per year). Once completed with training, salary will be a 45K-52K per year. Above average health insurance coverage, life, 401(k) with employer contribution, paid vacation, sick leave, ID-90 travel with Lufthansa and Star Alliance. Instructors work a 4 on, 2 off schedule creating a "shifting weekend" in three separate tiers. ATCA operates 7 days a week. Flight hours 650-700 hours per year.
ATP Flight School- ATP Flight School will be presenting at the job fair to showcase the Regional Jet Training course. They will also be recruiting for flight instructors.
Embry-Riddle- Embry-Riddle will be recruiting for flight instructors.
TransPac Aviation Academy- Will be Recruiting for flight instructors.
