Come out to the "Burkina Faso" Art show. Enjoy an evening with like minds of Original African Culturally inspired Visual Water color paintings by Naomi, Artist at Seshat's Brush. Open Mic and Performance by Amadou Kouyate, Local Djembe Drummers, Capoeira Angola by local Angoleiros, Indigenous Organic Henna by Jade Henna, and vegan friendly Traditional West African Cuisine by Delights by Mina, The Earth Center Ankhasta Traditional Herbs, and More! Naomi Hanna is a self-taught Baltimore Artist and student at BCCC looking to travel to Burkina Faso this winter 2017 with The Earth Center to advance in her spiritual initiation. Hanna started painting at age 14 while enduring being Black while in America. Through grass roots education, Hanna grew in knowledge about African History and Culture which began to show itself through her art work. She now lives in Baltimore City attending the M'tam Schools of Initiation to reclaim the path of her ancestors to serve the Community she lives in.
