Description

Dining For Justice presents “Pata Negra Pigout for Justice”

Benefitting Immigrant Families Together

They are telling us that summer is over. But we are not buying into all that quite yet. Come help to keep those sweet summer vibes going and to show support for asylum-seeking families in need with a very special pig roast from Don Rodrigo Duarte.

Don Rodrigo is the man responsible for bringing Portuguese Alentejano pigs to the United States. This very special pig is the genetic forebear of the pata negra and when roasted it especially exquisite. In fact, Duarte took home the grand prize at Pig Island 2018 for his roast Alentejano Hog. Don Rodrigo has also been dubbed the “King of Hams,” by New Jersey Monthly and will be also serving some of his charcuterie.

Side dishes will be graciously provided by Chefs Consortium and our friends at Betty Bakery will be serving desserts.
