This seminar is a must for people who are considering getting a pig or who are already parenting a pig. As well as shelter caretakers, humane officers, foster homes, veterinary professionals and anyone interested in better understanding pet pig health care needs and their unique behavior.
Pig Placement Network is fortunate to have Arlen Wilbers, DVM and Susan Magidson lecturing at the First Annual Pig Parenting Seminar.
Arlen Wilbers, DVM has been treating pet pigs since 1988 for the Quakertown Veterinary Clinic, caring for over 700 pigs per year. Throughout his career, Dr. Wilbers lectured at several Potbellied Pig Symposiums, at State Veterinary Conferences in Maine, Kentucky, New York, and Mississippi and for 6 years he lectured at NAVC in Florida.
Susan Magidson founder of Ross Mill Farm began her pig career in 1990. Susan has lectured at numerous pig seminars and pig symposiums. Susan consults with pig parents helping them work through behavior issues.
