The Collins Dictionary of English Language cites 33 interpretations of the word home.
Descriptions range form the simple – “a place where one lives” – to practical – “a building set up to care for orphans” – and reach into the existential – “a place dear to one”, or “to be directed towards a target or goal”.
But what do we mean when we say home?
In this one-off evening of monologues we explore thoughts and feelings surrounding this ambiguous term through a variety of original writing, peppered with more familiar ruminations.
Those who have a clear notion of the term are fortunate. Perhaps we can show you that things aren’t always what they seem.
There will be a donations bucket, because your tickets are free!
