Love a good homemade pie? Then this class is for you! Master a classic pie crust that puts your grandmother’s to shame. You’ll create two delicious twists on the traditional Thanksgiving pie - a salted caramel pecan pie and a spiced bourbon apple pie. You’ll go home with two pies, along with recipes to recreate your pies for years to come.

    The Downtown Market Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving life through economic opportunities, healthier living and dedication to the environment. We work with entrepreneurs to support start-up food businesses and partner with community groups to educate underserved populations on simple steps to successful culinary health.

    Grand Rapids Downtown Market is located in the heart of downtown, at the corner of Ionia and Logan. The vision of the Downtown Market is to become the anchor for a Market District within the Heartside neighborhood, as well as serve as a community-gathering place that reflects the diversity and creativity of Grand Rapids and southwest Michigan.
