An interactive talk by local astrophotographer Dawid Glawdzin, as part of Supermassive Space Weekend.
Join us in Beecroft Art Gallery to discover the world of astrophotography. With picture and equipment demos, forget the paparazzi and discover the true meaning of photographing the stars.
Driven by a passion for capturing the beauty of the night sky, Dawid, a local Southend amateur astrophotographer, has already won several awards for his breathtaking images. His dedication and unique perspective have led to features on the BBC website, The Times, The Independent, Daily Mail, BBC One, and BBC Essex radio. He continues to inspire others with his commitment to sharing the wonders of the universe through his lens.
This talk lasts approximately 45 minutes.
This talk is accessible for ages 10+. Older children and adults will enjoy this talk, children younger than 10 are welcome, but some may struggle with understanding the content.
Please note that tickets are per person attending the talk, every attendee will need a ticket.
