Picture This!: Live Animated Comedy

Animation Block Party presents Picture This at Union Hall! This summer will mark the 19th annual Animation Block Party festival in Brooklyn. Come celebrate the block party opening night with live animated comedy from Picture This at Union Hall on Friday, August 12th! Free festival event starts at 10pm.

PICTURE THIS! is a show from Brandie Posey & Sam Varela: two girls who want to push the boundaries of what a comedy show can be. Picture This! is a live comedy show with stand-ups performing while they are drawn live by some of the best animators, cartoonists, and other artists in Hollywood, CA, SF, NYC ,and Portland. Picture This! has also debuted in Toronto, New Zealand, and Australia! The comedians don’t know what the animators are drawing and the animators don’t know how the comedians will react.

9:30pm Doors / 10:00pm Show

Free with RSVP (RSVP does not guarantee entry. Those with RSVPs will be given first chance for admission when doors open at 9:30pm. After that it will be first come first served until we reach capacity.)

All attendees must have proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. Please download and register with NY’s Excelsior Pass. You must present this at the door to verify your vaccination. If you are visiting from out of town or can not access the Excelsior Pass app, you must present your vaccination card at check-in. NAME ON VACCINATION CARD MUST MATCH YOUR ID.

Full Vaccination is 14 days after your second dose of the Pfizer-BioNtech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or at least 14 days after your single dose of the Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine
