Event description

Description

The 2nd Annual KU Women in STEM Pi Day Fun Run/Walk is BACK! This year we are making it a Pi Day Pi K (that's 3.14 K...about 2 miles).

Come on out to King University's beautiful campus and enjoy this evening event. As always...participants all get PIE at the finish line!

The event will take place on Pi Day (3/14) at 6:15pm. Starting line is in front of the King University Student Center. Registration table will open at 5:15pm and bib pickup will be available then also. Cost is $25 which includes a tshirt, but you have to register before March 6th to get a Tshirt. The course is hilly and involves varied terrain, so it is not stoller friendly.

All proceeds go to support the programming needs of the King University Women in STEM club (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The starting line is in front of the big Student Center (our gym) on campus. You can park in the parking lot adjacent to the building. You'll see the finish line tent and flags as you come down the hill from our main campus gate on King College Rd.

Can I run with my dog?

Unfortunately, our insurance will not allow us to have participants run or walk with their pets.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

You can contact Professor Wendy Traynor at WLTRAYNO@King.Edu

What's the refund policy?

As this is a fundraiser going through Eventbrite, we cannot offer refunds for non-attendance, or in the event the run/walk is canceled due to weather. Your registration is considered a donation to the Women in STEM club and we thank you!
